| sometimes i just take a 250-300 px white soft brush and on a new layer just paint once, then take about a 85-120 brush and hit it again.
or, apply image on new layer, go to filter>render>lighting effects and so some sort of natural light source, and set the opactity down about 40-60% | |

thats the problem, there isnt a lightsource... well not a clear one because the render has light on different parts and sides. you can also burn parts to give a bit better lighting effects. | |
